Yes yes... a long and tiring weekend... but I feel great today! Found an alternative to the up-all-night Saturday that I require to sleep decently on Sunday night... more about that in a minute...
Friday night I went and ate @ Angry Dog (best burger in Dallas) with UV and C0dy (thanks to C0dy for buyin'). Afterward I hear that they went back to UV's place and beat Final Fantasy VII. Congrats guys! I myself went home to see Dawn when she got home from work.
Saturday Dawn and I babysat Alex for KC and went and visited my grandparents for a few hours. Alex is a good baby, he didn't even cry once (while I was around him at least...). After getting back from my grandparent's I made Dawn and I some tacos for dinner and then I installed and played the
Homeworld2 Demo, which rocked. I never played the original Homeworld, so I don't have much to compare it to, but Homeworld2 supposedly has much better graphics and the gameplay is easier for novices. Good good stuff, I will probably have to get it when it comes out later this month... After that Dawn and I went out to the Ruby Room for some house music and friends, which was much fun.
Sunday I woke up mid-afternoon, shaved the sides and back of my head, and re-bleached and dyed my hair again. No more dark roots!!! I made Dawn and I some lunch and then Dawn took a nap because she hadn't been feeling good all day. I ended up taking a nap also a few hours later. Later that evening after we both woke up I went out to the Homebar in an attempt to wear myself out so that I could get some sleep. Dawn didn't go because she was still not feeling well. Had a fun time dancing and then went home and actually was able to pass out. I never would have been able to pull that off after napping during the day normally.
The nights have been cool lately, perfect for use of the convertible... Both Saturday and Sunday nights coming back from the club/bar I drove home with the top down... A nice cool breeze in your hair is a wonderful thing... I hope it stays cool from here on till fall and we have a warm fall so as to prolong my convertible-use (:
