Independence Day

Yes... a fun-filled, action-packed I-Day. I first went out to my parent's place to chill with my grandparents and parents for a few hours. Dawn couldn't join me as she had to work, but I wasn't there very long anyhow. Dawn and I went out to dinner with Bob and his family after I got back from my parent's place and she got off of work. Had a great time at Dave & Buster's with them (and had an awesome chargrilled steak in a pepper sauce with mashed potatoes (YUM!)). After that, Dawn had to go to sleep because she had to work at 7am again the next morning so we went home, but then I decided to go out for a while and got directions to the hotel roof party that UV and c0dy were at. I should know better than to get directions from uv... Almost an hour later and off by about 4 city blocks, I finally found (the wrong side of) the building. After making my way through the labrynth of cooridoors, courtyards, stairs, and freight elevators, I found my way to the roof of the correct building. I had missed the first house set, but got there for about 30 mins of D&B and then a niiiice house set by Moses. My legs are still sore from dancing to that set and the following house sets. Good good stuff. After being thoroughly entertained by c0dy passing out on a deck and dreaming about tcp/ip stacks, I went home to play a few hours of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I need to get out and dance more often, I am way too out of shape.

dance, music
