Christmas Weekend Update
Thursday was the last day of work for me last week since we had Friday off. I was hoping the snow/ice would stick around and prevent me from going into work on Thursday, but no such luck...
Friday night my immediate family all came over to the house to celebrate Christmas and open gifts. We almost didn't have enough room for all the gifts under the tree. My nephew is pretty spoiled (: I got a Nintendo DS from my mom and a dope green lantern hoodie from Dawn. We made homemade pizzas for dinner and generally had a good time.
Saturday morning we woke up WAY too early to go over to Christmas breakfast at my maternal Grandmother's house and have Christmas with that side of the family. I've never been much of a breakfast person so I usually just sit there while everyone else eats, but that's ok, I don't think there was a seat set for me anyway. After breakfast and more gifts we went home for a few hours then headed out to my Great-Grandmother's house where my uncle is now staying for Christmas with my father's side of the family. More food, more gifts, and then finally home. Dawn and I made a bed on the living room floor and watched movies and slept by the fire.
Sunday was fairly relaxing. We watched another movie and I played some World of Warcraft with Chuck. MSJ (who finally picked up a copy and joined the game) also jumped online a little later in the evening.
I was able to keep a fire going most of the weekend. I like fire (:
