Halloween Weekend Update
This weekend was awesome... Friday, I was introduced to a substance known as "PimpJuice", and it is teh YUM. I spent Friday night over at Chuck's watching stand-up on comedy central due to being kicked out of the house Friday night while Dawn hosted her Moonlodge group there. We made a couple of quick trips to the gas station, grocery store, and did a couple of drive-by's on the video game stores (:
Saturday I spent getting ready for the Halloween party. Early Saturday evening Dawn and I went out to my grandmother's house due to it being her birthday (the 30th). After having dinner and spending some time there we came back home and finished preparing for the costume party. The costume party was awesome... and only a few bitches showed up without a costume. All the ladies had sexy sexy costumes and as a booty-grabbin pirate, I really enjoyed those costumes (: Some of the other costumes I enjoyed were Alissa's "sexy devil", Dan's "Alex" from A Clockwork Orange, Pete's Darth Vader, and Chuck's "candy raver" (I love costumes that require you to act the part as well as just dress the part). I didn't finish carving all my pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns (pictures coming soon) so was hoping that the last three would get carved during a Drunken Pumpkin Carve-off (TM) but that never happened ): Oh well, at least I got three of them done... I also got to play with the dry ice I bought and I think everyone had a good time.
Sunday I slept for a while and then woke up to hang out with Zonk and Alissa a bit more before they left town. Once it got dark we actually had quite a few trick-or-treaters come by and I gave away about half the candy I had bought for them. I was hoping for a lot of trick-or-treaters to come by but I think the threat of rain may have scared some of them off... Around nine the rain started pouring down and the thunder and lightning was going off all around the house. I had considered going out to Discoween @ Zubar but decided to stay home and cuddle with Dawn during the thunderstorm. I really didn't want to go out in costume in a rainstorm, and it sounds like I made the right decision because coming into work this morning the first thing Chuck says to me is "I got rained on." because he parked at Cody's house and walked to Zubar, then the storms rolled in...
