First Bi-monthly Arts & Crafts Night
Well, even though there were a grand total of 3 people that showed up, our first Arts & Crafts night was a great success. I had started on one project only to discover that the exacto knife I have is not quite sharp enough for what I needed it to do and I had no extra blades for it. So then I moved on to a painting, which I forgot I was so close to finishing, I just needed to clean up some of the already painted black and white areas, but then i discovered that I was out of the black that I used on the painting, so I cleaned up the white areas. I need to stop by MJDesigns or somewhere and pick up some more black. Next A&C Night I should be able to finish that painting up. Actually finishing a painting will hopefully keep me motivated to finish this other, similar, painting that I started working on for Zonk a long time ago. It's about a third done, so maybe I'll move on to that one when I'm done with this one. I'm not very good at traditional painting, but these two paintings are of a certain style which I can do fairly easily.
