So I upgraded my gaming box...
Last night around 1am when I couldn't sleep because I foolishly drank a soda when bowling last night, I decided it would be a good idea (heh) to upgrade my Windows 2000 gaming/media box to Windows XP. I acutally used the installer's upgrade feature and I let it continue the upgrade when I finally went to sleep. Amazingly, it was booted to XP when I woke up this morning. When I get home I'll find out if there are any major problems, but overall it seemed to go off without a hitch.
Hopefully this will fix my ATI Media Center problems I've been having with my ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro that I bought just before the last LAN party. Hopefully now all the video inputs and everything will work correctly. I'm hoping this will also solve my problem attempting to run GunBound which I have so far only been able to play on Chuck's laptop or workstation @ work and haven't played in a long time. It was quite fun when I had a chance to play...
