Summary: "Kraftwerk ("power plant" or "power station", German pronunciation: [ˈkʁaftvɛɐk]) is an influential electronic music band from Düsseldorf, Germany. The signature Kraftwerk sound combines driving, repetitive rhythms with catchy melodies, mainly following a Western classical style of harmony, with a minimalistic and strictly electronic instrumentation. The group's simplified lyrics are at times sung through a vocoder or generated by computer-speech software. In the early to late 1970s and the early 1980s, Kraftwerk's distinctive sound was revolutionary for its time, and it has had a lasting impact across many genres of modern popular music. [here]" I don't really have much to say except that they're really mellow electronic with minimal vocals--something nice to listen to when you want to relax or just have something as "noise" music running in the background while you do something else. Somewhat ambient.

Summary:
"Hello, my name is Adam.
I prefer daydreams over reality.
Music is my muse.
I write and record in my basement.
I have trouble sleeping.
These songs are all I have to show for my sleepless nights.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
It means the world to know someone is out there listening.
You have no idea how much I appreciate you.
Thank you."

So Adam Young is the guy behind Owl City--one of the rising bands that are unsigned. He does everything himself. And he's really good. His music is a little bit semi-acoustic synthpop (for those who liked what I upped from Ministry of Magic, they have similar styles--I think so, anyway). It's a really mellow, really relaxing type of synthpop with adorable lyrics. In some ways, too, he reminds me of a bubblegum pop Darren Hayes. XD; (I don't know why. The similarity is just there for me.) I was able to find examples of all of the songs from this album for you guys to listen to. Definitely, definitely give him a try! ♥
