Summary: In my opinion, her style is really something else. The majority of her music has a strong pop music feel, so if you like artists such as Shakira, Rihanna, or Britney Spears my guess is that you will possibly like M.I.A. as well. Her music uses unique backing tracks, that sometimes in my opinion border the lines of an industrial feeling, which for some, could turn them off. (It had the opposite effect on me, as I always crave something new and different.) I became interested in her after downloading the song 'Paper Planes' from the Slumdog Millionaire OST. Enjoy!
