[MF] I'm still pulling my thoughts together on this album, so forgive me if this is a little bitsy. After my first listen-through, I was a little unsure of my feelings on this album. It is very different from what we've heard from Super Junior in the past. I'd definitely agree when they say it's more grown-up, although there are a couple of songs that sound like they'd fit happily alongside Miracle on the shelf.
Overall, the album is more upbeat than previous efforts, with only a couple of the big, sweeping ballads that featured on Don't Don. Most of the ballads are covered by Super Junior - K.R.Y., with the addition of Sungmin on the track "WHAT IF". A strong beat backs most of the tracks, giving the album a very dance-like feel (in fact, the official website describes the genre as "Dance"). At the moment, it's hard to choose a standout beside the title track, because the album is very low-key. It works, though, and the finished sound is very mature. If this is the sound SJ are aiming for in the future, I think with more polishing and practice, it can definitely become something really great.
I could say a lot more, but I'm saving that for the review. :D
