妖精帝國 (Yousei Teikoku, meaning Fairy Empire) is a two-member Japanese gothic electronica band formed in 1997. Produced by TEAM FAIRITHM, Yousei Teikoku worked together as an indie band for several years before being picked up by their current publisher Lantis. They are quite well known in anime circles, having performed theme songs for Magical Pokan, Innocent Venus and Venus Versus Virus, among others.

These guys are amazing. Gothic electronica (imagine Finnish group Nightwish performing songs in the vein of DDR) isn't a very widely-used genre for music, so it can take a little bit of getting used to. But Yousei Teikoku's music is really engaging. I adore these guys to pieces, honestly, and they need more fans! Releases are ordered chronologically from oldest to newest.
