Summary: Around this time in 2007, Janne Da Arc announced that the members wanted to try some solo projects. What I've uploaded is the discography (...I'm pretty sure that it's everything, though I'm not 100% certain... >>;;) of JDA's own Matsumoto Kazuyuki--or, more commonly known as ka-yu.

Janne Da Arc was one of the first bands that I got into when I was first introduced to Jrock... years and years ago. :D;;; I don't talk about them all that much, I know, but I really do adore them. ♥ And, as much as I adore Janne Da Arc as a band... I'm really, really enjoying ka-yu's solo stuff, too. XD While JDA is very good at changing their sound and still are able to remain distinctly themselves... ka-yu's solo project doesn't really seem to have any really strong influences from JDA. And it's fascinating to me because this is now a ka-yu sound. (What I mean by this comment is that I can still get the feeling of original band sound with a lot of artists who try and go for a solo project. Not necessarily a bad thing, but ka-yu stands out differently--for the most part--in this case. For me, anyway. ^^)

'Matsumoto Kazuyuki' has a rougher, more raw quality to his sound than what a lot of JDA produced. Rather than pop-rock, it's very much rock. He reminds me of a lot of the classic rock artists that my dad always plays and that I have--because of that--always listened to. Perhaps that's why I'm really enjoying his stuff, but... well. XD Hopefully others can try him out and decide for themselves what they think~
