Summary: Debut single for actor Jang Keun Suk. (You can watch the PV/listen to the song here.) The song is very retro pop. Definitely has a disco-y feel to it. Actually, the first thing that I thought of as I was listening to it was... Darren Hayes. XD; I don't know why, but the music style just really reminds me of him. It's smooth, but still pops in really nice places. It does have a hip-hop feel to it. Overall, I think that this is a really awesome debut single for Jang Keun Suk and I'm curious as to see what else he'll come out with~

Summary: I stumbled upon Up dharma Down a couple of weeks ago by accident. I was looking for more Southeast Asian bands. I had managed to get ahold of a part of a song from Fragmented, and I really liked what I heard. A really interesting sound--and female vocals, which is always a plus in my book~ Up dharma Down has a... really interesting sound. It's something that's totally up my alley, but... XD; Not everyone has my tastes. :D;; The band's definitely rock, but it's more along the lines of 'mellow' rock. Post rock, mood-y type music... almost lounge, but it's still a bit too hard and experimental for that. Like I said, a really interesting sound. XD "The World Is Our Playground And We Will Always Be Home" and "Layag" are probably my favorite songs on this album. If you're looking for something new or want more Southeast Asian music, give Up dharma Down a try. Like I said, not everyone will like them, but... hey, at least you were willing to try something new, right? ^^

Artist: Brian (Fly to the Sky), Eru, Epik High
Song: Hollywood Bowl Medley - Korean Music Festival 2007

download.

Summary: I ripped this from the Hollywood Bowl performance with Brian, Eru, and Epik High. It's a medley of a whole bunch of songs and this was just... freaking awesome live. I had been hoping that the performance would be in the DVD/broadcasted version and... just my luck, it had been~ Enjoy!
