Summer vacation
This last week was so much fun. I missed hanging out with Toph, Larry, Brem, Kurt, Steve Dave, Pat, Christy and anyone I forgot. It made me remember the good times and forget some bad ones. I hope everyone is as happy in Mt. P as I was (hint hint). If not, then your priorities need to be re-evaluated.
Saturday and Sunday at Silver Lake was amazing too. My parents' friends were there. Even though they have grandkids, who came to visit, I always have a good time with them even if my parents are a pain. I even played with their grandkids too. We climbed the dunes and ran down into the lake. Those two kids wore me out. I did, however, outlast their dad and my brother. I felt slightly better knowing that I am slowly getting into better shape everyday. This past year had me being pretty lazy and putting on weight. Ferris has added 20 pounds to me and I am not really fond of it.
I am starting to entertain ideas of staying in Michigan, provided that I could work near Silver Lake and buy a house on the lake. I could work hella hours during the winter and slack off during the summer, have a place to entertain friends and have a toy or two that have the potential of killing myself.
Toph is coming to GR Wednesday night to hang out and/or play softball. I am gonna try to drag him to get fitted for our tuxes Thursday morning. We would have to go early. I am headed to Lansing for dinner and a movie. A date, if you will... although I refuse to call it that. I am attempting to stay "issue-free" until I graduate.
I am thinking about catching a Tigers game in a couple weekends. I hope that the game and the weekend, in general, work out exactly how I want. I dont know if that would make things simpler for me or just raise more questions...
Does anyone else ever entertain the idea of telling everyone they are heading to "part A" of the country only to sneak off to "part B"? I mean, just disappear off the map for a bit. I wouldnt want my CMU friends to think I want to avoid them... if they really know me, then they can say for a fact whether or not we will be friends regardless.
I think I am gonna take out a loan so that I can work even less this year. I mean, 40 hours minimum of free work every week is gonna drain me more than I know. 8 months, 3 weeks left of pharmacy school until I graduate... not that I am counting...
