My weeks have been reduced to class or free work from 8 or 9 in the morning until 5 pm. Then, after rush hour, I have the luxury to study the material that was so poorly presented to me that day. I also get a weekly homework assignment that I deal with. It usually involves 30 pages of reading and an hour's worth of review, as a minimum. I find that every semester has been a challenge since I left Central. It has been hard being away from MY family. I have parents and brothers, but my family in Mt. P has always been what has sustained me. Being away from everyone for this long has drained me of all motivation and it robs me of any satisfaction that I might feel by simply surviving all of this.
Anyhow, better and brighter news, I have no plans for Spring Break and I won't rob myself of another Founder's Day. I have a few ideas of what to do with my time then and none of it has to do with class or working,
I also am the owner of a brand spanking new laptop. I know, I know, nobody I know has EVER seen me in the presence of new technology. I do have in my possession a MacBook. Brand new, shiny and speedy. Even MTom might appreciate it.
I have two of my four days off a month coming up and the 'rents wanna take a solid day and a half... maybe I should just bail and head to Mt. P for a recharge. I could use it... although the Super Bowl plans have already been laid.... and, YES, there will be a tv in the shitter for those unavoidable' breaks!
