The eggs I got a few days ago hatched this morning! I have puppies running around everywhere - they're really cute, look!

They're really lively already!

[ It's been a long day. He certainly didn't expect the train to get hijacked or a bomb to be planted there. Those few hours were possibly the most nerve-wrecking he's experienced in the past few decades; he knows Johto can resurrect people but that fact alone doesn't make the whole ordeal less frightening.
It's late in the evening when he pulls out his PokéGear from his bag and checks the latest post and his voicemail. Again, America?, he thinks as he clicks on a button to start up the video message. ]
... Puppies?
[ They're cute. Not in the same league as itty bitty bunnies of the Holland Lop variety but they're still plenty of adorable. When the video ends, he plops down on the bed and decides to play it again.
And again. He leans back some, his lip curling up to a small grin. He definitely needed this. ]

[ Twenty minutes and a shower later, he sends a video message. He's washed off the dried blood from his face, but there are still a few bruises here and there and his hair is mussed and slightly damp. ]
[Oh bunnies are cute too, he just doesn't know you can get those yet. WAIT UNTIL HE DOES- He'll end up with the cutest team of all of Johto--- I mean.
Anyway. This time when the video message starts the puppies are curled up near him. Adams (Houndour) and Jefferson (Growlithe), true to their characters, are on opposite sides of him so they don't fight, while Hamilton, the Shinx, is on his lap. Hancock the Psyduck is leaning against his knee. It's a rare occasion when he and Luna have actually stopped to rest - so it's pretty dark out.]
I know that, but puppies cheer everyone up! [He looks concerned after though, because why do you have bruises on your face, Holland? 8(] What... happened, anyway?
