tree planting for my mom
Okay, so some of you had expressed interest when I said we were probably going to be planting some trees with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for my mom - basically they were one of the two groups we told people they could send donations to in her memory, and they got so many they are planting about 500 trees just outside mom's legislative district (it's as close as they could get). It's going to be Sunday April 27, from 12 - 4 pm at Matthew Henson State Park in Aspen Hill, and since there are so many trees and we are actually going to get to plant them, they want to know how many people we think will come.
Moral of the story is, if that is a day when you're free, you want to plant a tree and remember my mother, e-mail me and I will put you on the list of people to send info to, etc.
