Mono sucks. Baxter not being able to diagnose it sucked worse. Michael not knowing how to make chicken noodle soup and giving it to me straight, without the extra can of water to thin it, sucked the absolute worst.

Did you get a false negative on the mono spot or something? There's a tiny part of me that still thinks I have it, just because I NEVER get fevers and I've had one for days, and no one I know is sick except my boyfriend, w/ whom I definitely had contact while contagious, and he has mono.
My not having mono when he does would just make me think I'd had it before without knowing it, but the part where I'm sick makes me suspicious. Bleh anyway.

Most people had mono as a child, but it just registers as a low-grade fever then. I don't even remember if Baxter tested me or just said "Nope, that's not what you have" even though my roommate had it, and we shared dishes. Mom had to drive out halfway through Spring Break and drive me back to AZ to see the family doctor.

Yeah, I know most people have had it by the time they're adults. I'm just cranky because I'm sick and it's weird.
The lame thing is, Baxter was always so quick to tell people they didn't have mono, but actually according to my doctor a ton of people get it in college and never know that's what they had (just think they have a cold or something similar).
