(no subject)
I'm so excited. It's my first full day in my dorm and I like it a lot. Yesterday we moved in and we had a lot of fun at the luau last night. It reminded me of middle school dances, but no one here except my roommate knew me, so we just danced while everyone was standing around or leaving because they were too cool to have a little fun. I woke up this morning at seven because we had an oa meeting, but the oa never showed up so we left. That was a waste of my sleep. Oh well, I came to the room and slept for about an hour and then went to what I thought was going to be a seminar on depression, anxiety, and stress. Well, all we did was play games! I was disgusted, but I won a cd that had a bunch of relaxation music on it so that was pretty cool.
Oh, and did I mention that the Indianapolis Star is going to do a story on Mallory and me on decorating the dorm? It's exciting because I have never been in the paper before for anything except for just a name. I think this is going to be a successful year. I'm just kind of nervous about classes, but that's going to happen, I mean I was nervous that first day of high school. It's normal. Today's my daddy's birthday. The big four-five. I'm going to my grandma's at four because she's going to have stuffed manicotti's. Yummmmm. I love my chris!
