I got ID'd!
I got id'd today in tesco, I was 'intending' to buy some brandy for xmas cake along with other ingredients.
and the silly woman id'd me, to which i looked at her confused and asked if she seriously thought i could possibly be under 18, and she said she thought i could be under 21, and i asked if she was joking.
anyway after a few stunned moments and me not having id on me (but a plethera of credit cards) i almost walked off without getting any of the goods, but that would be cutting off my nose to spite my face.
Still i do think if they are going to question your age and you have credit cards they should question wheather you own them or not, especially if you have dr written on them. After all it is my understanding most credit card companies only give out cards to over 18 (although that may have changed in recent years) and certainly you can't have dr on them unless you are somewhat over 18 so if they are questioning my age they should also question the legality of me using the cards, of course if they did this they would lose all their custom but possibly cut down on fraud.
