KMKR - It Moves

One of the classic problems with kitchen design is the difference between drawings and reality. What looked good on paper proves later to be a permanent annoyance. So, Anita was using tape and cardboard cutouts on the floor. Even with this, locking down the final positions has been difficult. Ah, but I have a solution, albeit a high energy one.

On the home improvement shows, I've seen a couple of times where there mock up the kitchen with cardboard. Cardboard - phuft! I have vast quantities of 2x4s and plywood that had been scheduled for a bonfire. I've now converted them to rolling cabinet mock ups. And these aren't merely hacked together. These are strong enough to easily support our existing granite counter tops. Let the pushing and rearranging begin.
