Adventures in grooming
I go to a day spa about once a month or so, and I'll spare everyone the details. I had gotten a flier about a new place so I went to check them out today. I like them much better than the other place I had been going too, so I think I will switch. They really catered to me, and their prices were better. I thought the (what do you call these people, anyway?) person I had working on me did a GREAT job. She was very thorough. And possibly a little too exuberant. I'm not sure yet. Exuberant in a good way though. Yeah, that's all I'm gonna say. Some of you are going to get gorey details ANYWAY, no need to scare the rest of you.
Dad called me at about 1 to crow happily that he'd gotten fired from Seaman's. See, he hated the place. For 9 years. He predicted 2 years ago that they were goign belly up, and began to plan his exit strategy. He's been ready to leave since last August, so when things started getting particularly hairy, he was all ready to leave, but as part of his plan he wanted them to either let him go of fire him. Well they took option B and now Dad is all set to play with his race car all summer. So, really, this is a good thing, and something Dad very much was looking forward too.
