lol. Your relief is palpable. Hey, you know those moments in horror movies, where they go to investigate a sound, and you're covering your eyes wailing "Don't do it!" but then it turns out it's just a cat and you relax... Never mind.
omg, I'd been looking to work in almost that exact line, something with the nurse soothing Elliot by saying "How coherent are you when you first wake up?" but there never was a really good place to put it, so it got cut. 'Cos seriously, every single day for me begins with staring at the clock, trying to figure out what time it is, and if that's what it should be, and trying to do the maths on whether I can hit snooze.
All this conversation above about Top!Toby and Bottom!Toby. Mostly at this point I just want to enjoy sexually awkward Elliot.
Yeah! I hoped somebody would appreciate the ass slut line. Elliot would never appreciate it. Never ever.
I like the idea that Toby is planning out every possible permutation of the weekend. I really like the idea that even though he's a late starter, he's learning to know his kids. (And how to manipulate them.) Holly's a little budding Beecher-lawyer, too.
