Oz/Law & Order: SVU crossover

Tobias Beecher's trying to rebuild his family in the shadow of the man he was in prison. Elliot Stabler's struggling to continue in the wake of divorce while his job eats away at his soul. It makes for an odd friendship, but it works.

Oh wow, you probably heard me squeaking from here!

As the chapter progressed, I was thinking, there is all this honesty on the surface, but it's based on the quicksand of neither of them being really honest, and then Elliot went and did that at the end.

The thing that concerns me now is that Elliot has been brave (in front of Olivia no less, which really shows how much he trusts her), but will Toby be able to be brave back, or will he continue with his Chris fantasies - and since the story has a long way to go, I think I can guess the answer to that one.

Awesome chapter, but now that Elliot's taken the plunge, I'm even more on edge than I was before.

Elliot really isn't used to being the (comparatively) more honest person in the relationship, I think. Of course, he doesn't realise he is now, either.

Toby, now... Toby wouldn't be Toby if he wasn't making everything way more difficult for himself than it needs to be, would he? I wouldn't want to write him out of character...

I know it's mean but I find E's sexual confusion very entertaining, that and the myriads of possibilities of how this situation will be played out. Rubs hands together and evil laughter.

I can assure you, I wrote a great deal of this with glee. What's the point of a big, macho man like Elliot Stabler if you can't make him squirm? A thing that Toby is very, very good at, and that's why this pairing is so much fun.

It sounded like Toby had loved going down on his wife. That dark-haired woman in the photo on his shelf. Elliot wondered if she'd sprawled back on the bed, making soft pleading sounds as Toby kissed her breasts like Kathy had pleaded for Elliot

Damn, Elliot, throw that out there for everyone to see. Liv can be quiet if you ask but I bet she's confused too. Toby isn't much better, he had Chris in his heart and sometimes El is so close. I hope Tobias can like and love El on his own merits.
