turn signals, people. use them. don't be like the jerk in a bmw this morning who cut across two lanes of traffic to make a last second right turn right in front of me, with no warning whatsoever. thankfully, my newly replaced brakes were fully functional and stopped me just in time, but jesus. couple that with the convo on the train later about a bike-car accident that _did_ occur elsewhere in the city...
anyway, watched the latest lost and 24 on hulu. 24: good lord. so completely unbelievable. how do they propose these people get into the positions they mysteriously occupy each season? it boggles the mind. i am boggled! lost...well i guess it's just the same stuff they've made a sensation out of.
but hulu, i'm not happy with. the first time i used hulu, there were three 15sec commercials. for the episode of 24, there were 9 commercials between 15 and 45sec long. argh! of course, it was bound to happen, but this is the boundary of what i can tolerate already. at least they're fairly mellow low-budget commercials. but i'm about ready to start downloading torrents of the episodes just to improve the experience.
finally, i'm leaving tomorrow evening for portland for the long weekend. back on monday...be good while i'm gone!
