blast from the past
in the past week i've gotten two random emails from strangers asking for details about code i wrote ages ago. one found my old college portfolio online and wanted to talk about image filtering, and the other found a post i made to the opencv mailing list four years ago and wanted a newer version of it. out of the blue, but kind of a fun little reminder of some of the stuff i used to do.
i made some awesome rice tonight - replaced half the water with coconut milk, and scraped half a vanilla bean in there for good measure. mmmmmm. tomorrow i'm gonna take the leftovers, add some sugar (and maybe an egg), and fry it up.
