Life of a scientist

It's astounding! Rodney has it completely right: you get much more work done when you are alone in the lab, it's late at night and nobody is asking questions every five seconds (not that I would know the right answers). I really have never done so much work in such a short time, it's a good training for the PhD-finish days to come!

So here I am, 13 hours in the lab (and that on a Sunday!) and still more then 24 more to go. It's midnight and I'm starving! After I missed my two take out orders I was really desperate but thanks to "Joey's Pizza" they actually try it a second time around! Though if I remember correctly I told them not to come before 9:30 PM.
Our security guy here looks a little bit confused every time he sees me, even if he should be used to people running around night and daytime, but to give him an excuse it IS or better WAS Sunday.

So now it's dinnertime before the real hardcore work starts and as dessert: chocolate covered coffee beans, the best friend of mine at the moment! *sigh*
