School is awesome. I love it here. It was pretty much the most natural transition ever. Everyone in my hall is a transfer, we were pretty much all in the same situations, and we're all pretty tight at this point. Registration has been a BITCH, but it's calming down, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have 3 classes that I really wanted, and one that I have to take (economics) but the professor himself seems pretty cool.
Getting into my major is really difficult, all the classes are tiny and full and I probably have to submit a bunch of stuff to the head of the department, but I'm hoping to get that dealt with in time for spring semester.
Everyone here is intensely smart. It's so weird. I love it, but it can be intimidating.
Book buying makes my soul bleed, but luckily right before I dropped $560 on what could only have been about an acre's worth of trees, I got hired with America Reads (also paid through federal work study) to teach young'uns how to reed buks. Um, rewarding, convenient, and solvent. Perfect.
I really need a bike. Stat.
