The last few days....sad, exciting, fun, memorable!
I finally have time to update. I'm tired, but so happy at the same time. Ok before I start talking about the bsb show last night, I'll update from last Friday. It was my last time hanging out with Kelly before she left for LA. We met at her house ofcourse, then we headed to the city. It was beautiful outside, the lights and just the whole city was great, I know she'll miss that. We went to WaterTower for some shopping at Lord & Taylor, lol, I showed her my store and she got some cute DKNY jeans & shirt for LA. Dinner was good at CPK and I ordered what I always do...yum! We saw Shilpa's lil sis their with her friends, lol. After that, we walked on Michigan Ave and around the city to some fun spots. Took pics, videotaped and just reminised about the good times we've had downtown and stuff. We ended the night by having some really good dessert at the cheesecake factory, stuffing ourself with Chicago's best cheesecake...loved it! It was really sad to leave her that night cause I know it won't be the same without her in Chicago to share everything with me and to just hang out. I always love going to Park Ridge, my second home, with my parents CK & DJ Ronski, lol. She is gonna do amazing in LA and be so successful very soon, she's got what it takes, the talent, determination and personality! The thing that makes me happy is that I know she will be home soon and we will have more great memories, esp this summer when I visit LA and *Nsync's CFTC among other events. Plus, we'll keep in touch always no matter what cause that's what true friends do. Good luck and have fun KEL!!!
Saturday, I had work all day and then at night we had some company from Canada that came to visit. It went well, that's all I'll say here....
Sunday I had off work cause of Easter, it was a low key day with the family, played with my nephew and then at night went to the city with Manu. We met up with Jen and just hung out, had some bsb fun at the HOB, lol. Good times.
Monday was the BSB show! I had a vacation day from work, so that was great. I slept in and then had a busy day ahead of me. Angela and I got downtown around 2pm. Did some investigative work and then we arrived to the HOB. Security was tight, we almost met the boys...lol damn the hob security, oh well, next time, that is still the special spot!!! We at the HOB restaurant cause we were so hungry, relaxed, talked to some old friends and then went into the show. It started 45 mins late, but when they finally came out, it was incredible to hear the crowd and see the boys so upclose and live in Chicago. We got upclose and it was great to see them in such a small venue compared to past years. I snuck my digital camera in and got some good pics of the guys. They sang so well and danced a lot too, it was funny, lol. It was cool to hear a lot of the old songs and then some new ones too. As old as some of them are now, they all performed like they had just gotten signed and were starting out to perform. They were being all cute and you could tell their bond as "brothers" was stronger than ever and they have a connection that is evident in the almost 12 yrs they have been together as a group. I can't wait for the Milwaukee show and possible other shows coming up! After the show, we left quickly and waited around for the guys. Security was all around, but we were able to say HI to the guys, they seemed really happy, but we couldn't get pics, there were too many of us there I guess....oh well, next time, lol. It so happened that the guys followed us to the highway, or we followed them, no we really had to go the same way, lol. A.J. was in the front on the phone and we def waved at him, it was a nice moment, lol. OK that's the review, Ang..we are gonna have so much fun at the upcoming show(s)!!! Milwaukee!!!
