First of all, no apologies for failing because this was not failing. :| And I threatened to bop you under certain conditions--of which you fulfilled--and thus, you need to be shown the error of your ways. *BOPS*
This was... amazing. I love the structure that you used to help further the plot, and Shizuo's first dismissal and then worry about actually falling for the flea--and then what would happen if/when he really did? Guh. Pretty much perfect and so him because, I think, it would be like that a lot for Shizuo--the subconscious worry in the back of his mind that never goes away: "I'm invested in this, in him, but Izaya is Izaya. How can I ever be truly certain that what he feels for me is real and he's not trolling to break me?" That tension, that stress and worry and uncertainty.... so heartbreaking and I just want to hug Shizuo SO MUCH. T______T
Shizuo waited to wrap an arm around Izaya’s waist until he was absolutely certain that the louse was asleep.
It was pretty much here that I just... wanted to hug his head and never let him go. It'll be all right, Shizuo. I love you!! ♥♥♥ And it's such a small thing and I love the fact that it's done in action instead of thought because it makes it so much more poignant--and the reader just knows what it is that's going on in his head. :\
Izaya, if you break him, I'll break you. :|
I loved this~~ ♥♥♥
Be more confident about your writing!! *shakes fist* Your vocabulary, style, concept, and characterization just blows me away. :3
