REV OF RETURN BECOME FOCAL OF POWER AND THE SUPREME!
holy crap. yeah it's about time. i even prommised these to a few of you (Y, sorry!) a couple weeks ago!
so here's what's been changing here, aside from the business. i really don't have time for everything now do i? i need to, that's an entirely different update on it's own! or not. place still looks a mess. and now that it's starting to come together, what are we doing? looking for a place out in the countryside!!! guess it's always time for change. our house is still full of stuff and junk from Grampap, Gregg, and John. people leaving. leaving us all their sub-par stuff. kinda fun kinda cool, but after the novelty of it wears off, irritating and more house filling than we could want. still getting rid of stuff.
lemme know if you want to see pics of anything in particular. our room isn't actually dirty, but it's messy enuff that R said no pics. it's much less messy than the dining room tho.
anyhow, top down:
guest room, yeah, looks similar, not much changed here. the twin bed is leaving. selling/sold.
yup. that's R's computer. nothign special, now it has an appropriate vintage 9800 pro. it's still snappy and quick at 2.4 Ghz.
the entranceway now with the refinished floorway. nothing special.
dining room. new sconces, refinished floor and most impressive the new light in the center. more on that later. it rocks. its so awesome and cool.
VICTORY! ah well, it's a mess. and the walls look black.
and THIS is what the light looks like. hard to foto, but i got it:
moving onto the projector room. no projector on the floor! YAY! another mess of a room, but not that bad. most rooms arent' finished here, and some bits are gettign re-done and the screen needs to move up ~19" on the bottom and ~4" on the top. throw distance needs to be revised a little too. moving it around the way it is is still temporary but MUCH improved for use. anyhow. pics:
you can SEE just how shite the floors were. and they didn't look too bad. but still there's night and day difference. yeah, not quite done in there yet. oh well. i'll get to it. they look amazing tho.
and that's the thing what gets everyone chilled out here. the track and the proj on the ceiling lights changed the dynamic of the room IMMENSELY! it's actually a nice place to be now.
moving on down, we tore out the frame and wired in these cool lights. uses twice the power at 28w of compact flourescent, but lighting is much improved and it's not a totally skanky hallway. still need to open up the bottom a bit.
then theres the kitchen. it looked a lot less full last week when we just pulled the wood cabinet face out and extended the shelves and dropped the top down an inch or so in prep for the butcher block top.and last nite we picked up the countertops. here's test looking of one.(cause it sure as hell don't fit!) it'll yellow out a bit, when sealed with mineral spirits and we're going with light bamboo flooring and radiant floor heat under it. it'll fucking ROCK! just got off the fone with a friend Ryan who's gonna do the work. yeah, i'm going to let somebody else do this one. he pays mucho attention to detail and is cool. anyhow. i'm scared of too much yellow and wood, so we'll prolly repaint the walls a light light steely/aluminum grey. i'm putting in 5 more of those can lights today and removing the center light/fan monstrosity. need to get on that. but just adding 9" to the counter there(and shelves underneath) already makes it SO much more usable! we're not losing that 9" either, cause the 12" wide radiator on the other end of the room is leaving. an actually functional large kitchen? no ways! oh yeah, pics:
and well, that's it! i know i haven't posted pics of my mistresses lately, so i'll do that soon! just sorted out the coilovers, bought a helical diff from japan and Recaro seat for one of them and $400+ in ferodo brakes for the other(ouch!) and i got a new helmet! YEEHAW! there's an open track day on friday, think i'm going, but i'm not sure which car to take.. LOL! what a dilema!! ok not so much. well, let us know. more pics are a click away! just comment. i promise i'll check this thread all week long! love you guys and even if i don't call or write or anything, i love ya and miss you all!
