Its horribly dreary in Zurich today - sky is solidly overcast and grey. Go up another 1000 meters and its a completely different story - bright sunshine and blue heavens - and get to look down at the cloud cover below in the valleys

Yes, and I couldn't move them independently. It made walking hard.

Perhaps you could have tried sliding along on it instead?
