Welcome to pipsqueaks , whom gave me almost-anonymous KAT-TUN smiles for my holiday wish list (which lots and lots of people have contributed to). <3333 I have an intro post here if you're interested. :D

So today I went to Mitsuwa and what did I see?

...I'm getting ahead of myself. Thanksgiving is kind of where this story begins.

So I went to DeeDee's and it was awesome. I hadn't seen her or Amanda or the others in so long, so we had plenty of fun playing ping-pong and Monopoly and talking in DeeDee's room (but just with DeeDee and Amanda and my sister and I). We ended up going shopping together today too, since it's Black Friday, and I got a lot of cute new tops and a shiny new necklace. *___* It's really, really cute. I might take pictures later.

But anyway, at lunch today we went to the food court and this new Japanese stand had opened up. By "Japanese" I mean chicken teriyaki on rice, but I'm a sucker for it and almost got the teriyaki. But at the top of the menu, there it was, in bright white letters:

"Kato Chicken"

...so yeah, I got that. I feel so lame, but it was spicy and pretty good for four dollars of food.

In other JE-related news, now I can get to Mitsuwa. So Lizzie and I were going to go on Sunday, but she was bored after I came home from the mall and called at like 2:30 saying she wanted to go to Mitsuwa today instead, so we went and it was awesome. So, so awesome. I didn't have a ton of money because I hadn't been really saving, so I only got Popolo and some groceries. There was a sale on erasers, which were all shaped like food and Lizzie thought it was adorable. She spent over fifteen dollars on erasers. FIFTEEN. o___o

I kind of wanted some but didn't get any because of Popolo. Ngh. Also, next time, if the Puzzle album is still there, we are buying it just so I can put the puzzle together and Lizzie and I can sort of... watch it. At my house. Since we have a region 2 DVD player since we're Chinese.

Regardless, we went to the food court after stopping by the bakery. Lizzie really likes the fries from the Japanese-style burger place (they're crispy and delicious and the seasoning is so mmph) so she didn't eat real food other than those, a bottle of coffee milk, melon pan, and a chocolate panda bread that she started taking apart eye by eye. It was sad, but I kind of turned the other way and watched TV while she ate it. /D;;

We talked a lot. And Lizzie's a chatterbox and I tend to ramble around her, so this is saying something.

You know, I really love her. She knows what I've been through, she gets the whole "self-injury doesn't help thing" (not going to go into details here), I can talk without thinking too much around her, and she's my bestestestestestest buddy in the whole wide world. I don't think there's anyone that can understand me more than her, though Gen is a pretty close second. We can talk about just about everything together, from irritation about people butchering pronunciation of languages because they aren't trying to college to why we should write a book to fix vampires. She's great. <3

Oh, there's a TV in the food court! Lizzie and I sat down somewhere we could see it easily, since it was actually on NHK and Shounen Club Premium was playing. I flailed. Lizzie flailed (albeit a little less, but she was kind of louder). It was some senpai that was the premium guest, but Eito was singing "Hitotsu no Uta" (I think) and alskgh;skdf it was awesome. You really couldn't hear it because it was too quiet, but we also got to see Koichi's concert report.

There was a table of three across from us that were watching while we were, and it was funny because they clearly didn't know what was going on. I think they saw us watching and were wondering what was going on. Regardless, it was funny watching them try to read the Japanese subtitles for "Hitotsu no Uta" when they clearly couldn't. /D;;

AND AT THE END, the credits had Ryo alone with Taichi for about a second, after his "Akirerukurai Bokura wa Negaou" session. And Eito in "Kyu Jou Show" outfits. Needless to say, I was pleasantly amused.

But cryyyy, I didn't have enough money for Wink Up because I'm cheap and don't like having less than twenty at all times in case of emergencies. In any case, I found Hayashi rice roux, another Crunky (though I wonder if I should have gotten the matcha one too), purin, purin mix, some furikake, and Oronomin C. Because, you know, Kame, Jin, Ryo, and Ohkura advertised it with Ueto Aya. I am laaaaame.

...and yeah, I got the Nishiki rice I'd been trying to stay away from. In my own defense, it was only a dollar and will save me one night of making rice in a rice cooker if I make curry or Hayashi rice this week. /D;;

But my life. My life feels complete today. Other than me giving the wrong change to the cashier and the fact that I am functioning on what feels like four but was really more like two and a half hours of sleep right now, it has been a wonderfully fantastic day.

...which means tomorrow will crash down on me in a haze of badminton conditioning and homework, but I am kind of okay with that.

holly jolly holly holly jolly holidays, food makes rose happy, japanese, rose fangirls like crazy, lizzie is the tego to my koyamama, i call him ryoface, kanjani8
