What is it about classical music that makes me so happy? ^^;
Figured it was high time for an update, so it's SUPER FUN UPDATE TIME! Yaaaaay...
The Music
Holiday concert's soon. I love most of our music, but why did they have to pick a jazzy version of Carol of the Bells? Why not the pretty, original version that's not horrible to the ears? T.T
But anyway, I'm actually thinking of dropping choir and taking up the violin. Sis is leaving her violin to me, so I might just do that. Choir just isn't as promising as it once was. *sigh* I suppose I'll stick it out for a while and see if I can get into a higher choir and leave behind the kids in my class now. They're too unfocused and we never get anything done in class, which means we won't be ready for the concert. Oh boy.
The Men
MEN SUCK AND THAT'S FINAL. A friend's boyfriend of nearly a year broke up, and she was crying about it all day. I managed to cheer her up a bit during PE, but she started crying again seventh period. God, why are they so annoying in these years? They're either too clingy (Jessie's boyfriend), insensitive (Cori's), or don't know when to stop talking (Michelle's). Pfffffft, men. I'm going to grow old alone with cats if this trend continues.
The Homework
...the masses and masses of homework. Next year's going to be worse. I need to stop procrastinating. D:
The Holidays
I... I really hate Christmas sometimes. You know, once I got verbally attacked for honoring Christmas and not being Christian. She said I was "going to Hell, and I'm gonna be starin' down at you, laughin'". How kind. I mean, it's not like all I do is get presents and not know what the heck we're celebrating. I mean, who doesn't, right? And yet, there are those who think that just because I don't believe in the Christian God, I shouldn't pass around the cheer with everyone else. That because I'm not religious, I have nothing to be happy about during the holiday season.
Would she believe that once upon a time, I actually prayed to God at night? That I went to a Catholic school when I was younger? Than I've tried religion? Maybe. Maybe not.
The closed-minded are always far from the truth.
