(no subject)
I'm basically making a post just so I can use this icon. XD Thank you, Riha! I've wanted a Jinnifer icon forever. Kanjani8 popsicles just did not compare. :< I also have a Toma icon now (lol whut?), but that is to be used in times of extreme despair and wtf-ery when I want to scream.
So... what's happened over the past few days? XD I wrote Pin in a helicopter but failed to make Code Blue jokes? I got an A on my chem quiz? I rediscovered my love and adoration for 2NE1? I can name all of SHINee thanks to two people on my flist? Yaaaaaay?
First, I have a new laptop. I spent like 20 minutes trying to decide on a name for it. XD I almost named it Wagahai, and after being warned that anything named Jin, Ueda, or Koyama just doesn't bode well for a computer, I figured something a little more... epic was necessary.
His name is DaGuch, no spaces because it wouldn't let me put one in, and it even stopped me from adding an exclamation point. D: I do not approve, Windows!
My naming issues aside, DaGuch functions perfectly and is very shiny and runs extremely quickly. I love him a lot a lot a lot and will take very good care of him. *burbles happily, pets* I'm also really loving the Windows 7 specs. I can't figure out how to get the snap feature going, but I wouldn't use it much anyway so I have no issues and am too lazy to google it right now. XD
All State results got announced yesterday. I was expecting them to do it at the start, but they made us wait until the VERY VERY END of the period. S (a senior made it last year) and I sat next to each other because R was at voice lessons, and we were both very nervous throughout all of choir. .__. She had it so much worse than I did though, because this is her last year.
Only 3 people ended up making it, which is a lower number than most years. Usually we have five choir kids get in, but oh well. :\ My biggest surprise was someone that made honors last year not making it at all this year, but IMEA is tricky and weird and sometimes makes no sense at all. Obviously I was not one of the three, but the three girls that did make it are all extremely talented and epic and amazing and awesome beyond all words. S made honors this year, which is super exciting.
I'm not torn up about it at all. I still made callbacks for All State, which is like, alkfja;ldfkasf whaaaaaaat in itself, and I still have next year to work on my voice.
Plus, this means that I have less stress to worry about in January. XD Yay! \o/ I do want to go down and see the All State concert, but that's really far away so we'll have to see. XD;;
