image heavy post.
So my dad is back from Japan. He brought me shiny, wonderful presents. *____*

So after my English final I went to Lizzie's and we played the Sims 3, which was kind of cool. The mirrors actually reflect, which is mind-blowing for me considering the last version of the Sims I played was, uh, the first one. Old school, yeah, I know. Our Sims included two ghost hunters, a playground monitor, and a roadie. It was... interesting, to say the least. Kind of fun too.

Also, Easy Mac is really salty. I do not believe I will be eating it again.

And then I got home and my dad was passed out on the couch from the 14 hour plane ride. He woke up when I opened the door and told me to look in his backpack if I wanted my stuff.

On top, an old shirt (ew), and underneath that, a plastic bag from UNIQLO.

UNIQLO.

idek if you know how much I enjoy UNIQLO because this is A Big Deal. It's so expensive here in the US and I've really only seen it in bigger cities, so owning it is like a dream come true. *___* Inside the bag were two T-shirts:

ARE THEY NOT CUTE? 8D I especially love the black one, though the design on the white one is pretty kicking. Animal skulls will always be a cool design; it'll make me feel all western when I wear it. XD;;

And I thought that was it, but my dad called me over to tell me that there was more in his suitcase, so I went in and dug out a pile of magazines. I'm not kidding, there were a pile of them. Mostly Sweet, and Sweet is a huge magazine itself, along with an issue of Popteen, Seventeen, and CanCam. They're all older ones from January to April except for CanCam which is for July, so my dad got them for cheap at a bookstore. I'm excited though, I love fashion magazines and will not need to hunt through Sanseido for older issues anymore. :Db

Then there were the clothes. After digging through more dirty shirts, there was the skirt:

(it can also be a top, but I'm kind of short so it's more like a minidress on me.)

the shirt:

the onepiece:

the bag:

and the really adorable shirt/shawl/gypsy-like-thing:

Like, I am so happy, no lies. I love all of it. My father then proceeded to regale me of how he was looking at Japanese girls to see how they were dressing and the other guys at the convention thought he was being a creeper until they figured out he was looking at the fashion for his daughter. XD

Apparently there was this saleslady that helped him out a lot with picking out the things. Lizzie and I concocted a plan that it would be some kindly JE boy that decided to help a confused-looking old Chinese man with no fashion sense, but alas. I'm not complaining though, the lady has good taste.

He also bought me KAT-TUN (and Arashi). *____*

All of them are LE with the DVDs included except for the Arashi and One Drop. WHICH IS FREAKING FANTASTIC.

I found Seto Kouji in Seventeen!

He's supposed to be "cosplaying" Sanji from One Piece since it was for a spread promoting the movie, but all I could think was "alkf;ads he doesn't look like jailbait!"

You know you agree. 83 I have been following this kid for 3 years now (say it with me: whut?) so since he was nineteen and the fourth generation Eiji on Tenimyu, I've known who he is and a;lkdasd he looked like jailbait then and he looks like jailbait now. I remember him being the cutest Eiji ever, right before Nagayan. <3

Also, Yamapi's name is on the cover of Seventeen, saying something about him in New York. I was all excited and flipped through the entire magazine to look for him. There was nothing. I though I missed him so I went to the index (which looks really messy by the way, but that's how Japanese fashion magazines are) and tried to find page 136.

It was gone. D:

Here is where a fangirl probably ripped Pi out:

With all the insane, obsessive fangirl stuff going on right now, I'm not all that surprised. But really, it had to be this issue, didn't it? Please, honey, you live in the same country as him, save some Yamapi for the rest of us.

And that's all~

PS: a lot of Japanese girls tend to angle the camera down at themselves in pictures. It makes their eyes look HUGE. I clearly do fail at this idea.

My math final sucked, but I am confident about almost all of it. Almost freeee~

lost in translation, school, rose is a girl - fact, beauty, shiny new things, wtf fandom, tenipuri, japanese, lizzie is the tego to my koyamama
