"If You Want to Know Who We Are..."
Gas is now $3.37 a gallon (at the cheaper gas station) here. I'm sure it's more expensive in SoCal. Holy. Crap. I am so glad I won't be driving much this summer. Why are hybrids so dang expensive? At least we know people will start buying more efficient cars now. Haha, my dad told me the other day that they should start calling Hummers "Bummers" instead because of how much it costs to fill them up nowadays.
Yesterday was the children's musical at church, and our organist introduced the musical by playing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and then going into "Hakuna Matata". It was amazing, and probably the only time those two songs will be played consecutively in church, or in church at all. I'm glad I was there to witness such an historic event, lol.
Gah, I called for jury duty at 5, it was busy all 7 times I called, so I tried again at 6. The automated voice told me to call tomorrow at noon, in the middle of class, so I have to leave class to call the stupid thing. *le sigh* Please please please please please let them tell me I don't have to report...
I got something amazingly fun in the mail on Friday...*sings to herself* Boys and girls of every age, would you like to see something strange? Come with us and you will see, this our town of Halloween...ooh and I FINALLY found the Hook soundtrack! For nine bucks! I've been asking for it for Christmases and birthdays for forever and it's impossible to find, and I got one of four copies in stock. It's glorious.
*yawns* It's sleepy time for me, but I'll close this with: Spiderman 3 was AWESOME. Definitely better than 2 and better dialogue, I thought. Venom-affected Spiderman is definitely uh, amusing, so say the least.
