Nick’s Post. Part 2
After the death day party photoshoot we haunt the halls. We run into other ghosts.
I was Nick all day Thursday. After a day of haunting my feet hurt. I remember hitting up vendor rooms and finally locating the common room. I don’t remember when I removed the costume. Nick had a lot of facial hair failure on Thursday, I had a lot of moisture on the upper lips and it was probably hottest and most humid day. Dixiebell12 was going to give me a bottle of pros-aid so I went to her room and snatched it. Dix has been dying to try on my hat so I stood her in front of a mirror and let her look. =)

Sometimes ghost just want to chill. In the common room. (where the art gallery was)
More than one person said I needed to wear Nick on Friday. My costume schedule got rearranged, the plan was to wear Nick Friday. So on Friday I tried using white makeup as a base. I used clown makeup, which is sticky stuff compared to Ben Nye. So the grey really doesn’t like to spread, and the white is ….not nice. But they work. -shrugs- I used the grey or black or deep purple to line on the white, this s also not a nice process. I used the fake facial hair mustache and goatee I made. Behold! I get V is for Vendetta Nick. I find the white makeup freaky looking. The White looks better in real life. The grey photos better. I am sticking to the grey style.

With an art vendor who is a natural Luna Lovegood or Fluer
A lot of people were doing “flat fans” or doing projects with various stuffed animals and toys. The hotel chandelier was lovely, as you can see in the background.
Irish was Trewlaney on Friday. Doe was a death eater.

Friday was the day my brains short circuited. I missed the welcoming feast- I was makingup. I missed everything before 1PM. I honestly have no idea how to speed up the makeup process. I am probably about as efficient as I can be with the set up and coffee service =). They don’t sell aerosol makeup that I know of. I am not investing $$$$ and hauling an air pressure makeup system that can do a zombie in 10 minutes. (awesome yes, but storing it and caring for it..no)
I ‘ve worn Nick and Snape with no theater makeup. The illusions go flat. I look like a woman in a Nick costume, or worse a blue eyed woman in a Snape suit with a cute little nose. It’s just visually jarring to my mind. If I think it stinks, then others probably will too. The only costume I can wear w/o makeup is Augusta.
