New Coworker
Yesterday was the first time I had work in over a week and it was the start of the new session. Basically it means that all week is "what's happening today? D:" I'll get the schedule and lane set-ups by the end of next week, but it's like a mini chaos in mmy mind XD
Yesterday also marked the first day of working with tr new guy. My first reaction is :/ let's just say, he seems nice but didn't really talk to me at all -__- by the time he comes in, I've been up since 4AM and need someone to just mindlessly talk to, just to help me stay awake. Normally, I'm really quiet when I first meet people, so yesterday I went in with a "just try talking" attitude. And I really did try T^T but then he was like, "is it alright if I go to the bathroom?" so I said sure, then he proceeded to aimlessly walk around the pool deck and/or stand 5-10 feet away from me, so it was impossible to talk >.>
I know he's new, and had been working at the outdoor pool all summer, so he's not used tto how it works here, but I was like, "ah, it's going to be like this now .__." I already know that most guys don't really want to talk to me because I'm not "attractive" (I've witnessed it enough times to know this) and even though that guy apparently had a girlfriend I was just like, ooooookaaaaay. :/
Whatever, will try to hold out judgement until he gets more used to working here, since we work 4 out of 5 days together >.< But it totally makes me miss working with Coworker-Brett. I saw him yesterday and he came in, gave me a high five (since we were both wearing phillies shirts and they're actually playing well right now) and the proceeded to tell me about how he tore his ACL XD (not that it's funny, but he did do it at a carnival XD)
Anyway, excited I'm working with Jackie today, she does nothing but talk XD and I haven't seen her in a while, so hopefully should be fun!
