A whole lot of talking with nothing good to say

I can't believe it's already November. Where has this year gone? When December 31 hits and I do my annual "looking back on the year" write-up, I'm going to have a lot to say.

My dad is in New Mexico until November 21. I don't like that too much. It's taken forever for me to get close to him, but ever since I went to the hospital to visit the day Joan passed away, we've gotten a lot closer. I'm so extremely happy about that. I think maybe I earned some sort of respect by showing that I DO care about his side of the family. It's not like my dad was never there...but he kind of wasn't. He wasn't there when I needed emotional support, he was just there when I was in need of financial support. Anytime I was in an emotional rut, my dad wasn't the one I'd turn to. Now, I guess I feel like I can talk to him about more things, and he'd actually listen. I love my dad. Anyone that really knows my dad knows what an awesome man he is.
I'm at work right now. I'm getting my nightly 9 PM headache.
I have to work 2 12 hour shifts back to back tomorrow and Friday. It's okay though...I'll get 7 hours of overtime for that. I NEED that money. I've decided I'm moving to Concord. I'll probably move right after Christmas, after I get some more money up. I just really don't want to drive to Concord and back every single day like I've been doing. I want to just leave school, go 5 minutes down the street, take a shower, and come to work. Next semester, that's pretty much going to be my whole life. I'll be going to school 32 hours a week and working 40 hours a week. I'm going to be tired ALL THE TIME, but at least I won't be AS tired if I move to Concord and can sleep just a little more each night. I'm still kind of worried about it though. I get the feeling I'll be sick a lot in 2007...guess I'm going to have to start eating less crap food and taking more vitamins.
I really hope I can graduate by next December. If I don't, it's fine, but I'd like a job where I make decent money doing what I really have fun doing. I like this job, but I don't like sitting here in this box all day. I need to be on my feet. I get really antsy after a while and laugh at REALLY stupid things and talk too much sometimes. Or maybe I talk too much really often. I'm pretty sure I can be really damn annoying to the people around me. Oops. But I like the fact I can keep to myself if I want to, and I don't have to talk to anyone on the phone or face to face. I just think if I got a job where I had adequate education and really liked what I did, I'd deal with it just fine. I did wait tables for 3 years - I think I know how to deal with stupid/mean/rude/ignorant people by now. If nothing else...I'll fuck their hair up if they piss me off. :)
The guy behind me is watching Jay-Z videos on his computer and listening to them out loud. It's kind of annoying.
I have so much school work to do...a paper due on Monday that I'm completely bullshitting on, a huge PowerPoint presentation due in 4 1/2 weeks, and two big tests to take next week. Awesome. Great. Because I have so much time to study.

I'm gonna go do some work. Hope everyone's doing well...maybe I'll see you all in 2008 when I have spare time. :)

Call me or email me or leave me comments...I want to know how all my pookies are doing!
