Note to self: Don't watch Public Access channels.
Good story.
It's pretty ridiculous.
So today, I decide that I don't feel like going to class. I felt like showering instead. Anna is supposed to be studying, but she doesn't feel like doing that either. Rather, she decides to flip the the TV channels to find something that doesn't suck 10 kinds of ass. Well. Searching through the channels, we come across this... "show". There was a really... not good band playing, with only 2 members in it. One was wearing this... mask that looked like it was from DnD or something. The other was this balding, perverted looking guy. There were overweight girls in very revealing clothes (corsets, fishnets, skirts) skating around in circles. Anna and I were just like "...WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!". We thought it was some kind of weird nerd thing. They played two songs (that we saw) and some other guy comes onto the and is all like "Okaaaaaaaaayyy... Well, now I think we should give away a FREE PRIZE!" (as opposed to prizes you pay for). WELL. They told people to call the number on the screen. So I did. But it was busy. I was shocked that other people were actually watching the show. A guy called in, and they asked him a trivia question. The question was "Who is hotter: The guy from the White Stripes, or Dolly Parton". The guy said "Dolly Parton" The TV guy was like "AAAHHHHHGGHHHHHH noooooooo WRONG!". So some other guy called. The question for him was "Name two states that begin with 'I'". The guy on the phone said "Illinios and Idaho". TV guy says "Idaho?! IDAHO?! THAT'S WRONG!!" So I finally get through. They ask me "Who was a better dancer: Sammie Davis Jr. or Charlie... something". Well, I only heard "dancer" and "Charlie". So I said "Charlie". The TV guy was like "Charlie? Oohhhh... that's so ridiculous... you won!" I was like "Yay?". I apparently won a poster of the guy from the White Stripes. Paper clipped to a piece of cardboard. It was CLEARLY in someones room for quite a while. Some guy in a rubber wig asked me what I thought of the band. I said they were ok. Then I drove all the way to the Public Access station in Hamden to get my prize.
It was real ridiculous.
Seriously. That band is on MySpace. Go to the MySpace music section, type in xPunx, click on the band from Norwalk, and listen to the song "xxx xPunx". Then picture some overwieght girls in not a lot of clothes skating around in circles. You'll see why we had to stop on the channel.
On a much more sense making note, I'm pretty sure I got into all my classes for next semester. I don't have a Monday class :D

Cell Biology Lab: Tuesday 1:30-4:20 (or so it should be)
Organic Chemistry II: Tuesday and Thursday 11:30-12:50
Organic Chemistry Lab: Undetermined. I have to switch that one at some point anyways.
Genetics: Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-9:50 AM
History of Rock: Wednesday and Friday 11:30-12:50 (I'm REALLY surprised I actually got into this class. It's really popular)
