Whoo-freaking-hoo
I am FINALLY done with my SOC THEORY PAPER!!!! YAY!!!! I took the class Spring semester and had to take an incomplete because of my broken leg. So I have been working on this damn paper since April, but I didn't have time to finish it because I took 15 credits online this summer.
Anyway, it's done!!!!
Twenty pages on Nicaragua: A Social Analysis of a Revolution. It's done. It's done. I've been so close to done for months now. I just had to write the last two sections of the ten section paper. But I just couldn't get myself to do it. Finally, one less thing to do.
I think I am crazy. Because of breaking my leg, I have a total of 10 credits that still need to be finished - a final exam for my stats tutorial, philosophy of world views, and a couple more things for Soc theory, plus the final paper work for my practicum.
Not only do I have to make up all that, but I took 15 credits over the summer, 16 credits this semester, 5 credits during this J-term, 19 credits in Spring, my 3 credit Cross Cultural in May, and then a 4 credit internship in Chicago when I get back. That is a total of 62 credits in the span of a year. That's half of my credits required to graduate. What in the hell am I thinking? Somehow this is my fourth year of actually taking classes and I managed to take 62 credits in the first three years and now 62 credits in the last year. Wow. I never thought of it that way. That's insane.
Anyway, I just got signed up this week for my Cross Cultural. I was going to do Chicago in July/August but I want to be done sooner than that. So, since the May Chicago was full, I had the options of Italy or China.
So I'M GOING TO ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED! I've always wanted to go to Italy. The projected cost of my trip doubled going from Chicago to Italy, but oh well, we're gonna make it work.
I can't wait to graduate!!!!
