Fuck the past man. We live in good times, well relativly at least. Sure there is a lot of bullshit in this world, but its nothing compared to what was going on back then. Fuck, you could say 'I dont believe in god' or 'I dont like the king' and they would drag you through the streets, disembowl you without the benifit of local or general anestetic, then burn you alive. I mean, I sometimes dream about living in the past were its full of adventure and I could be a pirate or a knight, but the thruth is if we lived back then, chances are you would be a peasant who shovelled dirt from sunrise to sunset to ekk just enough food to survive. Six out of seven days you would be eating potatotoe or cabbage stew, and on the seventh you would get shitty meat if you were lucky. History only really shows the exciting parts of the past, but not the countless thousands of generations of people who lived in pure misery in completely pointless and mundane lives.
