On the road
Over the course of 25 hours, I have traversed approximately 1400 miles by car. Jamie's mother bought a place in Florida, and we are helping her move. We kenneled Lilly up at the place in New Hampshire where we got her, because they board animals as well as rescue and they're aware of her quirks. We have passed through the Mysterious South, stayed at a motel run by a man with a Colonel Sanders beard, and been chatted up by garrulous old men in a waffle house in South Carolina. Now we are vaguely in the Tampa area. We will be out here all through tomorrow, and will return home by plane Friday night. We drove in shifts, so I am exhausted. I think I'm going to drink a whole bunch of wine and fall asleep.
