South Campus > North Campus

I have come to the conclusion today that I don't like philosophy people, even if I like to philosophize (is that even a word?) with my friends. This is because philosophers are wishwashy and they make no judgements and they have no point and they waste people's mental abilities and times and lives while REAL majors, aka South Campus life science majors find the cure for cancer.

So in my GE cluster, during the first quarter, the professors required attendence, so, of course, attendence sheets were passed around, and then this quarter, none of the professors said anything about attendence and the TFs stopped circulating attendence sheets so the STUDENTS started creating their OWN attendence sign in sheets. And I am so amazed at the extent of the neuroses of college students. It is so hard for me to believe. So anyway, I haven't been going to lecture (any of the lectures) so hopefully that is not counted against me (I honestly thought that they would stop taking attendence and just throw away the sheets). If I get marked off for poor attendence (rather than for being stupid and doing poorly on the final), I will cry.

UC Regents divested.

Chem 14BL final tomorrow. I am not going to see a friend's performance in Schoenberg because I'm going to study, although this makes me feel really bad. I don't think I've EVER been in a situation where I feel awkward/bad for not going to a friend's activity/performance/whatnot. Just the fact that I feel bad tells me that people are screwed up for influencing me this way. People outside of OP are abnormal.
