I work too much
Last night at work = horrible.
The first 5 hours I worked busser and dining room stocker which wasn't too bad. But then I got on register at cone shop and it was not fun at all. Lines were out the door and people kept changing their minds AFTER I rung them up so I had 3 voids and people would order 11 ice cream cones in a row. People were getting pissed at me over something I couldn't control. And to top it off multiple people yelled at me about people cutting in line and I had to void over 20 dollars worth in ice cream just because they were unhappy about waiting. I've only been working there two weeks and don't know everything yet so I'm going to make mistakes every once in a while.
However, I love my new job compared to my old job. The jobs are better, closing is better, my co workers are better. I actually like it at times. And tonight is going to be the total opposite of last night since we have a halloween party and almost no people come into the bakery or cone shop.
I just want a day off. I'm tired of working 50 hours a week. Its hard for me to understand why everyone gets 2 or 3 days off and only work 30 hours a week. I'm blaming this on my scheduler.
