It's been a while since I posted, due to being very busy between work, White Elephant, and general life stuff, but today absolutely constitutes worth it. At SalonCon (which is currently happening today) this year we have two shows rather than one. For the first set, I wasn't performing so got a chance to actually watch the show. At the very end, George broke the fourth wall to call me up to sing me happy birthday (since today is also my birthday). I was both embarrassed and delighted but that was nothing compared to what came next.

Genevieve entered with her guitar and sang "Grow Old With You" from The Wedding Singer to me all adorably awkwardly. Michael joined her singing towards the end of the song while they both got down on their knees to propose to me. I'm not sure I actually ever said the word yes, but I was sobbing and still can't stop smiling. It was amazing and perfect. I'd love to be more eloquent but I'm still just all girly and blurry. I keep staring at my beautiful ring just to remind me it wasn't a dream, because really, I couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect.

The song was perfect (I'd already wanted it as my eventual wedding song; always thought it was so sweet), and they were so sweet and the audience was cheering and everyone was congratulating me. I'm incredibly happy. And therefore babbling. Matt was taping so I'll post the video soon for all to see the makeup running down my face as I broke down completely from surprise and happy. But for now, here's a picture of the ring:

To be completely cheesy, I'm so completely in love, and so grateful for such an amazing moment. I'm going to go back to internal squealing and gushing now. :D
