evolved from an ancient mitochondria
I'm continuously wanting to update but putting it off until the excitement of the day's events has dimmed and my entries read like lists. But that's how it's going to be, i guess.
I went to Medeski Martin & Wood with about 49 other Oberlin students...the house of blues had a big pocket of obies right in the center, and everywhere i turned there were more familiar lovely faces. We had an intense dance circle due to a rolling Brandon; we were facing the center, waving our hands in and out, then we started moving up and down and eventually jumping up and down in the middle of the crowd.
The days have been amazingly warm and full of lounging in the sun. Everyone's got beautifully bronzed cheeks under their eyes. I'm living in Harkness next semester with Katie Anderson if she doesn't go to India. Kelan isn't going to be back, though, and at this i frown for i wanted to room with her.
Last night was Drag Ball, a campus-wide event in which everyone crossdresses. I gave some dresses and corsets to skinny guys, but I didn't go--was not feeling it--and instead went to the 420 benefit party, which i dipped out of when too many people i'm in love with started talking to me at once, because i get sooo overwhelmed by people.
Moby Dick is done. Now, i sleep. and miss Kelan, after our shower and sleep extravaganza last night.
