Something terrible happened.
Spike Bitch Noodle is no longer with us.
If you want to pay your respects, leave comments. If I had the space, I would have a wake. But, given the circumstances, this will have to do.
First of all, let me just say that Spike Bitch Noodle might not have died--she escaped. This was her second escape, actually. We just had a harder time finding her than last time. The first time she escaped, we found her after two hours of searching--she had dug herself up into the bottom of the couch. We later discovered that she had stopped up her wheel with bedding and crawled up the side of it, pushing off the lid (which is mysterious in itself, considering the lid has edges which hook onto the sides of the cage), and escaping. Wise to her tricks, I took out nearly half of the bedding and put books on the top of her cage. She got out the same way. Either she's way stronger than I thought, or I should've named her Spike Bitch Houdini Noodle.
It's possible that she didn't die, and rather took some time to go home for the holidays. I'm clinging on to that. But, realistically... Well, I'm not getting my hopes up.
Spike Bitch Noodle was a lovely hamster. Her favorite activities included sleeping, eating, biting me, and pondering the world. She was an intellectual, and will not soon be forgotten.
Here are some pictures of my lovely Spike Bitch Noodle in all her glory.
Okay, so I helped out with that one a little.
I miss her. If you want to console me, try chocolate/flowers. :)
