(no subject)
i'm still recovering from the flu (not of the swine persuasion) but am no longer experiencing body aches, headaches, or much sneezing. still have a sore throat, cough, and a seemingly endless amount of snot. i'm hoping to be totally recovered by thursday. i spent the night at my mom's on sunday and she took care of me. made me soup, bought me medicine and kleenex, served me theraflu with two bags of tea (the only way i like to drink it), and did my laundry. it was really wonderful. ryan's been really sweet, too, helping out around the house and making me take it easy.
in other news, i am really excited that the rockets beat the lakers in the first game of the second round western conference. honestly, i didn't know who i would be rooting for until i saw the game and it came naturally. even if they don't win anything else, i'm glad they won that game.
this summer seems promising. i'm hopeful about rediscovering friendships, especially those which had no reason to disappear. i can't wait until june: a week off work, screeching weasel's only show, camping, swimming, hanging out. the rest of the summer should also consist of swimming, camping, grilling, hangin' out, taking the dogs to fun places. i think it will. i'll be 21 this summer. dang!
