Opinions(pick 3 out of the 5 or do all take your time on these)

War:

Self-injury: I self-harmed for years, and I have been known to slip up on occasion. I never told anyone about it at the time, it was like a dirty little secret. I didn't want everyone to think I was angsty and attention seeking. I know a few people who self harm purely for attention - a girl I know once made a point of showing me all her scars. This annoys me, because its for this reason that self harmers like myself are scared to ask for the help they need.
For me, self harm was all about externalising the feelings inside - it's easier to clean up a scar than it is to get help for your depression.

Abortions: Whilst I don't think I could personally bring myself to have an abortion, I'm completely pro-choice. I think its easy for people who haven't been in a situation like that to shout about how they think abortion is wrong, but I totally think it depends on the circumstances. I think every woman should have the right to choose what they do with their body.

Female Rights:

Anorexia: Last year, I ate very little, and if my friends hadn't helped me, I don't know what I'd be like now. I think one of the main causes of anorexia is the pressure women are put under by society and the media. Every magazine we open has pictures of skeletal models, and it sucks that we have to come to terms with this. I often walk down the street comparing myself to every girl I see, and I think every woman has an issue with their body, but unfortunately we need to learn to come to terms with it.
